Me and my buddy were just talking the other night about a night we got into them thick and they were running into to the side of the boat chasing bait. It sounded like someone hitting the boat with baseballs. They had the water so dirty we couldn't see them,we were just shooting at the front of the wake they were pushing as they were runnning towards us.

Sheepshead are down here. You can shoot 'em but they are not thick or I've never run across thick schools of them in the bays or bayous. Water is tough to see through here also. We've spearfished them in the surf when visibility allowed for it.

Sheepshead are tough to clean not worth it for me. Some tasty meat if you have a friend that likes cleaning fish lol

Sheephead is very tasty and not bad once you get the hang of it. Guide buddy of mine says if we fishing we keep them......on charter trips they are trash.......ain't spending the time to clean them for other folks.
