 5500 black death How many rpm should the motor idle at when in the water in gear? Should there be black smoke coming from the exhaust when idling in water

Re: 5500 black death I have my single Mikuni BD set so I idle around 800 in the water.
Black smoke sounds like its rich, adjust the idle air mix.
