Owning this site has sometimes been like running a daycare center, only daycare centers make more money

All bs aside, it's a balancing act of allowing free speech (which is our right to do so and a right that I firmly believe in) and having to deal with things that could potentially bring trouble and that's why some words are censored on MMT.

I've always said time and time again that everyone's welcome here, and you know why I say that over and over again? Because it's true. It doesn't matter what anyone drives, and that's always been the case with me and MMT since I took it over. How do you think we got to 7200+ members? By excluding MB owners? I think not.

Some have had bad feelings towards the MB company owner and some here that own MB products have the notion that members on MMT don't like them because they run MB motors. I can't read minds but I would say that is simply not true. Some MB motor owners don't understand that it's not the motor, but the company owner that some have a distaste for. I can bet that if someone had a MB and was stranded out on the water, there's no doubt that any member on MMT would lend a hand to them, brand be damned.

As for me, I have had not a single bad word for MB or it's owner, (please use the search and prove me wrong), but yet, my character has been attacked several times at the MB forum. Once I posted a thread on MMT responding to allegations made about me at the MB forum and asked for it to be re-posted there so all could see that everyone was welcome and that MMT and it's owner weren't out to get anyone or make anyone or any company look bad. It was replied to by MB's owner as if I were a lying evil person out to get MB, it's owner, as well as folks who run them. This really bothered me because everything I said was sincere and I meant every word. Who are they to assassinate my character? Do they know me personally to think such a thing? The answer is no, they don't know me at all to make these false allegations.

Here's a newsflash, it's not me that has a distaste for MB, never have, it's some of the members and that's their business, not mine. I have absolutely nothing to do with anyone's dislike for MB so I would really appreciate it if my name would quit being dragged around like I'm something I'm not. I've have met several members here who drive all brands and I bet they sense when meeting me face to face that I'm an alright guy, because that's who I am, not someone who's out to get MB or it's owner by purposely running MMT as a bashing site against MB. It absolutely floors me to think that anyone actually thinks that I would purposely run a website to ruin a company, that is just idiotic to say the least. I would like to thank those at the MB forum who came to my defense, I really appreciated it and it meant a lot to me.

It's really getting to the point where I'm going to say screw it and censor every MB related word and we won't talk about MB at all. To be honest, my character has been run through the mill, but yet on the flip side of the coin MB would love to use MMT to pimp their new motor and that just irks me because to them I'm a no good evil person, but boy it sure would be nice to show off the new motor there because they've got plenty of traffic. See my point? It would really be a shame to have to go to those extremes because there's lots of MB owners here and some that I've met, I consider friends.

In closing, we're going to have to move past this folks, as in the past, this never gets anywhere.

As I've said before, everyone is welcomed at MMT, even people who drive a MB.

i understand that you dont allow the mm manufactures to sponser here, but for some reason it seems that that if you did it would maybe stop alot of this. at least the manufactures would feel as though there were no bias by you or the site. if that shook out like so it may rub off on the members here?

Yes there are lots of photos around, but what I needed was two photos that looked just like the ones up now, where the two motors are going away from each other so the logo stays in the middle. The photo would have to come from the person who took the photo so there are no copyright issues.

And Tony B also attempted this past summer again. Guess what happened? the Man said NO and then proceeded to bash Tony b on the other site

I kinda like it. That way it is harder for people to search his product. He may actually feel better thinking it is now harder for people to bash it. It's a two street that is probably gonna do more harm than good
