A lot of people truly don't need reverse. I never needed it for duck hunting. Never needed it for fishing. Didn't need it at SETX either. Its a choice, not an "arrogant" thing! The only time Ive used it on my bayboat is pulling away from the dock.

anytime you pick your pushpole up, YOU NEED REVERSE! Plain and simple!

I was talking about a bay boat btw. On a mud boat I don't use mine around other boats. Only use it when I need to. As far as driving a bay boat it am pretty damn good at it. Idk if it is because I fish about 100 days a year or it is because I started driving them since I could see over the console(so my dad could get drunk while I drive). Wheb tying up to rigs in 2-3' seas I absolutely love it

once you figure it out, you will want reverse on everything

I think 99% of the people that say reverse is pointless have a gd or mb, you know if some one gave you a gtr or pd with reverse there option of reverse would change. You can't tell me a push pole is better than reverse.
