 Pro Drive repair in the Houston area
Other than Gene's in Baytown, is there anyone else that works on Pro Drive motors in the Houston area?

The spark is grounding out on the block / engine shroud somewhere. Luckily you saw it at night. I'm assuming you were running in saltwater because that's when it occurs on mine. It's an issue with any saltwater running. The thing to do is completely wrap your plug boots & wires all the way to the shroud. This worked for me. I am about to actually replace my coils. I plan on wrapping the entire plug wire & opening up the hole slightly where the plug wires comes out of the engine shroud.

What year is the motor? A friend of mine had a similar issue with his boot and wires arching on the motor, and it ended up being a warranty issue. He brought it to the local dealership and they replaced the parts for free.
