Can a good car mechanic jet and tune it or does it take someone that has experience with them. :?:

This may be a dumb question, but would adding a Mikuni carb and exhaust void the Briggs warranty on the entire engine, or just void any warranty coverage on the carb? Is it like an all or nothing deal once you've changed any part of the engine? Just curious...

Just picked mine up from calen's engine today. i haven't had time to run it yet, but the trottle response is awsome on the trailer. Calen's engine service has very good service. He is as good as any other on this site when it comes to mods.

Believe me ...it's worth it. I got to run it today with carb and mm exhaust. I already had heads an cam done. It's definetly night and day difference. There was no mud to play in on Fausse point due to the south wind.

Calen's engine hooked me up ...........great guy!!!

def. worth it in my book. I picked up 2 mph. to 29 steady with just me, then put 2 more guys in the boat, prob. combined weight with 3 folks 700 lbs. and ran steady 26, bumpin 27 and saw 28 a couple times. Expensive mod, but I like it.
