no compreson in 1 cilender on my 25hp yamaha

 no compreson in 1 cilender on my 25hp yamaha i know its not a mm but i am lost on what to do with this motor i have a 1991 yamaha 25hp outbord it ran good then craped out i looked in to it and i have a scored top celender is it worth to fix or not and where can i get parts that wont cost arm and leg any info would help so much thanks

Re: no compreson in 1 cilender on my 25hp yamaha Running that motor is only worth about $400 if your lucky. Pull it apart and see whats wrong and if it's bad I would not waste any more time. Sorry for the bad luck but if it were me, I'd be lookin for another motor. Duckdon
