 F86
Been looking into specs on the new excel f86. I found a post (that other site) saying the 1851 (I assume open floor plan) is weighing around 650 pounds. Even if it is more like 700 that is a pretty good reduction over the f4 once you add the .125 option.
Second I was quoted (by a dealer) around 6,600 for a base SWVf4 no options plus I was told $775 for the .125 option. that makes the hull $7,375 with no camo or options. Post was saying base suggested retail of an f86 was around 6,400. This post was from July so maybe things changed.
Was hoping for some quick verification if anyone is familiar with the $ and weight.
Thanks

 Re: Fact Check
Ok, Fact is you need adderall. Do research yourself, go to excel website and use the contact feature and ask your questions there. Good Luck and focus focus focus

 Re: Fact Check
I agree on a custom builder. With the price you talking, you can get a hull, trailer and maybe even a new shotgun.

 Re: Fact Check
Custom builders are too far away from me. I would actually prefer a gator trax hull but the shipping kills the deal. The excels seem to have a very nice fit and finish. I don't run stumps and I think the 5086 .125 will hold up great for my applications.
I will contact excel and the dealer next week. I had researched the hell out of the f4. Was just hoping someone on here knew the weight and it seemed like (due to the standard features) it would save me some cash.

Another negative comment from someone whom doesn't own one of our hulls. In fact, should be praising us by what we did for a friend of his.

OP, where ya located? I searched all over da nation when I got my excel 2 years ago. Da dealer up here wanted $1,200 more then what I was quoted from a dealer in Arkansas. I drive there to pick it up and even after gas plus 3 more options I saved $900.

Original price $7400.00 Divided by 2 = 3700.00 - 800.00 for paint. So, that means $2900.00 each including running lights and switch panel.
Not a bad price. For that price you can pay for the shipping and still save a TON of money.

Anyone who pays $7300 for a .125 aluminum boat is insane!

 Re: F86
I can assure you, you can get something put on a freight for cheaper than you think. Go down to a builder, gator tail, etc. for cheaper... My dad is in the car business and they can put a car in Alaska from Florida for realitively cheap. Keep shopping 7+ grand for a boat without a trailer is nuts.... Heck you pay someone on here I bet they'd meet you half way.

People like Prodrive and Gatortail build quality boats for THOUSANDS less, and ship them all over the nation. Do some shopping. Shipping doesn't cost enough to justify paying close to 8k for a shitty boat just because it's close.
