Re: State record frog? Save the image to your computer and zoom in on it. You can see the gig pole tines...at least two of them. He obviously gigged it in the back of the head and buried it into the mud....hence, why the mud all over the place. But it still looks like a nice size frog. Nothing you don't see on a routine basis in the Atchafalaya spillway.

State record frog? Decent size frog but not anything special, at least not for Louisiana.

Re: State record frog? I think there is some trick photography there. I live in McAlester and know must the people that hunt frogs here. And I've not heard anything about a monster frog.
