If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid. :D

I went from heads, carb, and exhaust to heads, cam, exhaust. I like the mikuni, but its a pain when you have to deal with rain and all the other problems like sticking accelerator pump. I like the stock carb with the other mods just for simplicity. I found a better load carrying with the cam over the carb. The carb gave me more top end, but because I could turn more rpms. I like to keep my rpms under 4400 so the stock carb will suffice for me and really my boat is never going to be a speed demon, but will haul (not hull) a load.

As far as DDM, he is a great guy to BS with and he never gives me any shit for running a PD. He could really care less whet you run. I can tell you he can run a mudmotor better than anyone else because of experience. He knows how to trim a motor and how much throttle to apply without blowing out the hole. Though he comes across arogant, he can drive his motor better than anyone I have seen. (though I would love to drive circles around him as he is stuck) You either respect what he can do behind the tiller or jelous of what he can do behind the tiller. Ask Just10 how DDM drove his PD.

I think heads, cam, and exhaust is the way to go. The cam really woke my motor up. Not much on the top speeds, but really helped with jumping up on plane and carrying a load.

I did heads carb and exhaust. The thing I love about the mikuni is that mine idles at 720 in neutral and 590-600 in gear. When I engage the clutch it barely moves the boat instead of the boat jumping forward like it did with my stock carb that idled at 1100.
