About the same as the amount of new style PD lower units that have failed.

and it aint gonna do you shit either when the lower unit craps out on that poodrive either. i think ill stick with that rubber band instead of having to get another $1000 lower unit. As far as a GTR just being good enough to move around the dock and stuff boy you out your damn mind aint a thing hardly stops mine backing up and thats usually a tree

Me, like brasso? pahaha!
I might be 17, but I have forgotten more about a boat and motor than most of the members on here know.
I consider myself a pretty smart person, when I see a design flaw I have enough sense to figure it out. GTR has a flaw in its reverse. A surface peircing prop is ineffecient in reverse, its proven in many applications. A GTR digs down instead of raising the transom up, it corkscrews the back of the boat down into the mud or grass.

As for me not owning a nice rig, I apologize for not having 18k to throw at a boat.
Would you feel better if I was a spoiled brat and had one handed to me?
You and I both know that there are people out there that have top of the line rigs and are dumber than a sack of shit, owning a rig doesn't instantly make you an expert on one. I've been around them enough to know what each is capable of.

So, if you think backing up 6' and sinking the boat is cool... by all means do so, I will just sit over here and be a "forkin duoche who aint got shit!!!"

Side stepping?
I am saying they both break down, not common, but it happens. There are flaws in products sometimes.

The belt may be very reliable, I don't doubt that.
Unless it is a completley catostrophic failure, when a gear fails, you can hobble back to the ramp and get home.

When a belt breaks for whatever reason it may be, what are you gunna do? Tie the rope in the bow around the pullies?

No, because it isn't a surface piercing prop you dumbass.

The next time you are out in an outboard trim the prop up to the surface and put it in reverse. Let me know how that works out for ya.

So woody what your saying is that since they are surface props when fully submerged they don't work!! As for as props go neither a outboard or a mm prop will work when in reverse on the surface of the water!! Dumbass!!

How am I lost? I have been using a surface drive for the past 4 years. I don't own it but my friend does, I have spent a large amount of time running and riding in that rig.

Second, do I need to remind you that for a time you and brasso were going at it like prom dates every chance you got? Also you were giving me hell for a while, every opportunity you got. Or do you have the market cornered on fucking with people?

So you drive one SD and claim longtails can get in more places. Yeah I gave you shit for a while, then you amused me for a little while. Now you a bitching like a 12 year old girl. I haven't been given brasso any shit lately cause he hadn't been on here. I give docott and podcast shit too but you are the one out trolling for cock taking crotch shots every chance you get

Doesn't change anything, I'll continue to do what I do, I could care less if you and dw approve. Both of you are hypocritical women.

Your so full of shit, the majority of your posts not relating to bowfishing lately have been you making some smart ass comment. Go back and read the threads I post on, 7 out of 10 times there will be a dick digger or some other comment made before I post.

And that thread was started because I'm tired of people talking shit then whining when I talk shit back. What it boils down to is I'll say what I want, when I want and could care less if I upset you, dw, or any of the other little bitches here.

Ok, your right, you should be nominated as member of the year. Go back and look at my recent posts, I have made plenty of helpful comments, probably more than you if you take out the ones you made while sucking ddm's sack.

I do believe that with the new reverse plate that GT has out; The mud is now diverted to go under the boat; Which in turn creates lift under the transom; Which prevents the prop from downturning like a "cork screw"... At least thats what they told me

And it only cost an extra $200. I guess MB is not the only company using their customers as R&D and making them pay for it...
