 burning or loosing oil
i have a question to you all. Do any of you that have a mudbuddy loose or burn so much oil to where your oil sending unit shuts down the motor? and im talking new motor, around 22 hours right now.

Better ask mudbuddy, if you can use it as an anchor and if they will send you your money back, so you can buy another kind

Motors arent mudbuddy, better check with actually manufacterer first

So a briggs that burns oil is a Mud Buddy flaw? Interesting. I would contact briggs asap.

With only 22 hours, it should be the one who sold it that is responsible for it. I know if my new Gatortail which has a B&S on it will be taken care of by Gatortail, but we all know that

Contact your dealer or whoever you bought the motor from. You have a major problem if it is using that much oil. If no dealer, definitely call MudBuddy. All of these engines are air cooled, you need to check oil before every ride.

ya i know mudmuddy and b&s are different, just wanted to get yall opionion if it should be loosing this much. mudbuddy said it will, but prostaffer says it shouldn't. crediability here is being questioned? thanks guys...

If you bring it back to the MFR. they will get with briggs since it is a briggs issue. I had cam fail in my stock powerhead on my gtr. It was tken to Gator tail for the labor part of the warranty, but they had to go through Briggs for the parts (IE shortblock)

I have had two Motors in 2 years new and neither of them burned any oil at all. No it is not normal.
