 Dixie Mud Motors information

Post Dixie Mud Motors information
I was wondering if someone has experience with a Dixie. I have purchased a 23 HP on Alum frame. The motor should be in next week. I'm not that experienced with Surface Drives. Any do's, don't and lesson learned information will be appreciated. Even bad experience with Dixie would be nice to have so i can be on the out look for.

once you learn the trim and get the weight in the boat right. you will love the surface drives.It takes a little bit there not like running a long tail or an out board.Put a tach on it or use a GPS get your max speed and look at the spray or rooster tail and just try to macth that with diffance loads.
