Sorry didn't know where else to put this post so here it is....I'm headed to New Orleans for a week (part work, part fun)....any advice on to do's and what not to do's???? Thanks ahead of time!

Check out the River walk area and French Quarter, The Zoo is good and also the Aquarium.......dont do drugs

The WWII museum is awesome!!!

As far as being safe, you'll be fine as long as don't go "off the beaten path". If you take a wrong turn in the quarter, you'll end up in a democrat neighborhood pretty quickly. You could always just go uptown, too;)

jacques- imos best food in the city, located uptown. Iv been here 5 years and havent had better food (except of course what we cook in the backyard). they got little bit of everything. Little hole in the wall. you actually walk through the kitchen to go eat.

Lower 9th ward, check it out while wairing white sheets and a coned hat.

That's a great place to play "drop the mop" too...one person drives, the other hangs out of the passenger side and smacks nlggers with a mop. If he drops the mop, you stop the car and he has to run back and get it. Take turns. It's fun.

Also you might want to remember "where you got your shoes" (or what ever version the peddlers are using now) when walking around Jackson square.
