 Re: stoger 12ga.
im a big shotgun guy and from my point of view im not to fond of the inertic shotties. the spring does wear but the friggen kick is unbelievable. 3 1/2 will knock your sox off. I have a stoger and wouldent recommend it to any it's a jammaster, hard kicker, and is overall built friggen cheap. I shoot the xtrema 2 and it's very forgiving, quality, soft kicking gun. Gas guns have been around for ever and all this hype about cleaning the gas cylinder, i shot the same winchester for about 10 years duck hunting without ever cleaning the cylinder and it works like new. IF you dont wanna spend 1600 on a shotty and you have to have inertia look at the franchi. otherwise those 390's and 391 are the bomb.

 Re: stoger 12ga.
i have to agree wit ya da 391s are badass. ma stoeger has had problems loading shells but it was due to sh!tty cremps on shells . they jus hung up. and they do kick like pissed off mules cus u aint losing no gas. but overall i find it shoots pretty good

 Re: stoger 12ga.
never heard many good things said about a stoger, my .02. shot one on a dove hunt some years ago when the sbe2 came out with a benelli demo guy. it was just another shotgun to me. ive heard of the firing pins going out rather quickly on the over/unders, dont know it it applys to the other ones tho. ill tell you this tho, i just bought a benelli vinci monday and that is the sweetest, most compy gun ive ever put to my shoulder. the ONLY downfall i see in it is no 3.5s. all i shoot is 3s anyway, and i got a nova and a daly at the house thatll sling em. as for the inertia, i was shootin dragon flies yesterday with it with some left over 3in #2s from last year and it dont kick for nuthin compared to a pump. my montefeltro 20ga can be shot like a pistol. iow, it dont kick niether. thats my .02
