 House Training
Well boys, my lab Mia goes in for her heart worm treatment on Monday. I feel really good about this and am looking forward to her getting rid of these damn worms so we can move on.
Here's the deal. After her treatment she has to stay in the house for three weeks so she does not get over excited or anything like that.
She has been outside all 6 years of her life. I let her in the other evening to start getting a feel for being inside. Within 5 minutes she pissed all over my wife's rug in the living room (I laughed my ass off, but my wife didnt find it amusing at all).
So how do I train a 6 year old outside dog to let me know when she needs to take a piss or shit.
As always, your help is always greatly appreciated.

 Re: House Training

 Re: House Training
I had a 3 y/o female that was outside. When she was preg during one summer, I decided to put her inside. She had 1 accident and after taking her outside and fussing her, she never did it again. I didn't kennel her and she had free roam of the house.
After that, she stayed inside all the time.
