2009 MB 35. When I disconnect the battery from the motor it dies. it seems to be charging, the volts go up around 13.7 when you get over 2k rmps. Any ideas why it wont run without the battery?

Nevermind, figured it out. Takes 12v to keep the rev limiter firing with the mikuni.

Even if you didn't have a rev limiter you need to have the battery connected for a Briggs 35 to run if I'm not mistaken.

I was close to the lease you have a couple weeks ago. That whole area is loaded with grass. As long as we don't get a bad storm or a close call there should be plenty for the birds to eat if we get the weather to push them down.

only the cdi's and ones with rev box need the battery to run.
