 Mudbuddy trim unit
Anybody having problems with the trim unit on the Mudbuddy Hyper Sport? I am on my second one in about 6 yrs and it is also going out. It gets where it does not want to move while under way and moves real slow when out of the water. Are there any other options?

 Re: Mudbuddy trim unit
You got 6 yrs out of an electric trim motor, & you're complaining??? Dude, that's pretty good.

X3. my first thompson made it about 130 hours. i squeezed a few more out of if by taking it apart and cleaning the actuator. the lower seal will go out, and that's normally what does them in. keep the seal clean. WD-40 helps.

 Re: Mudbuddy trim unit
The first one lasted about 3 yrs and so did the second one. I am needing to replace it now. I have only 150 hrs on the engine. I didn't know how long they usually lasted.
