 New Rig
Just finnished painting my new mad man hull and just started rigging it out.Hope to have it in the water tomorrow.It's 19'3"x46"x18"

Not enough to squeeze between two cypress trees. The last boats he was posting on here didn't have anything tied into the sides. Bracing should be on top of the floor and welded into the sides. Shouldn't sacrifice the strength of the long runners to make the boat more convenient to walk through either.

What about oak trees, will it squeeze between them?
You can notch the cross braces down into the stingers so there are no "ankle busters" but I don't see anything welded to the side of the boat.

My boat doesn't change shape enough to "squeeze" through anything. I said cypress because that was the reasoning given on the other thread.
If you cut out notches to sink the cross bracing, you are sacrificing some of the strength of the runners.
