Maybe bad fuel, if you have fuel and air, it has to be ignition, check plugs, plug wires, something may be breaking down on the ignition side, make sure your gas tank isn't air locked...

You didn't happen to close the vent on the tank and forget to open back up? I did that once after cleaning the boat out with a pressure washer and acted very similar until I saw the tank sucked in. LOL

Gas Tank Vent should run wide open for a little while...I highly doubt that is the problem. I mean it could be but jeez that would be the first thing a guy would check right?

Sounds electrical. Do you have a rev limiter on it?
whats your plugs look like? Gapped properly? That still shouldn't cause it to shut down completely..

Man I wish it was that easy I went as far as putting my gas hose straight in the fill hole without that cap on!! And when I shuts down the fuel filter is still full with gas and after it dies u have to crank it a few times and pull the choke for it to crank back up !!

Yes new pulse pump and my motor came without the anti backfire solinoed and without oil pressure switch butt I do have a oil pressure gage and it reads about 40 lbs and oil level is good. and when i had the primer ball on the fuel line it sucked flat on time so thats when i cleaned out my tank and check the little filter on the tank line and removed it and i also got rid of my quick connect on my tank also. and the other day i pulled the fuel line off of the tank(opened hose no fitting) and my glass fuel filter stayed full so that should mean that the line doesnt have any leaks!! And i have a in-line electric fuel pump im going to try next time on the water!!! but i did run it in the drive way and with no load i can sit in the cdi rev limter!!
