Re: Redfish slam They let you shoot reds down there? That's awesome. Up in WI, we can't even shoot catfish. Rough fish (carp and other trashfish) are the only thing we can kill with bows. Although, if you want to get really rowdy, you can kill some panfish if you go diving with a speargun. The list includes: white bass, yellow bass (striped), rock bass, crappie, bluegill, perch, pumpkinseed (sunfish) and bullheads.
What can you guys shoot down there? I assume that gamefish are off limits, but I would have thought those reds are gamefish. Sounds like I need to head South to do some real bowfishing. I'm tired of only killing trash. Would be nice to want to eat some of the bow kills. |
