Removable CUSTOM LIGHTS for my gator tail boat
Ive been working on this project for a while and i have just about finished it all i lack now is the paint! I used a pair of RIGID INDUSTRIES LED Dually lights for it. These lights are freaking awesome. You can literally let them run for hours with out the motor running with no strain on the battery. I made the whole assembly removable, so that i didnt have to worry about someone stealing the lights, and i can take them out when fishing during the summer. Let me know what yall think. I was a little worried that it stood alittle tall but it turned out good i think at 9" tall. Ill post a few more pics when i finish the paint.
By the way I love my GTB and GTR. Its a 17 54 with 35 GTR, Marshmellow exhaust, K&N Filter, and Gator Glide G2 on the boat. The best ive seen is 31mph in deep water going into the wind with a light load. Shallow I have bumped 32mph at caddo a few times same load. Only complaint I have is I have been unable to figure out how to turn the idle down. In the water im idling at 1650 and i know this is HIGH. I have tried adjusting with the screws and everything, even bent the butterfly tab and no change.

Looks jam up! It's similar to the light kit on my Gator Trax.

Are they attatched with a pin or something or do they just stay in the holes on their own?

Yea thanks I did a search and got the idle corrected. The lights don't move/ there is no play in them at all. Its a really good fit It's similar to the pedestal base seat combo. Ill post a pic of the frame removed so you can see the pins.

Pins and collars. By the way the top bar may look higher in this pic i dropped it by an inch to make up some of the space inside, made it look better in my opinion.

Re: Removable CUSTOM LIGHTS for my gator tail boat
I guess the pins are inserted under the deck?
I think that would be a nice way to attatch a bowfishing light rail. Easy to attatch and remove and there wouldn't really be any hardware left to get in the way when they weren't on.
Do you plan to plug the holes when the lights aren't in?

Can you show a pic while running at night with these when you get a chance. Like a view from driving.
