Post Safe rpm's for a 23hp B&S
I searched and had no luck. Does 4050 rpm's sound about right out of water wot for a 23? And also at idle it is between 1050 and 1250 rpm's out of water, is it idling too high? This is with no mods.

That all sounds about right. You can go to vanguard commercial power web site they have specs on rpms as well as a lot of other stuff

Sounds about where mine is, about 3700 WOT in the water and 1010 idle in water.

Thanks, and my wot out of water rpm's is 4050 but when it is in water they go down to about 3400, and that is the sweet spot.
