Post To Mod or buy New??
Guys I have a 2005 31hp M/B Hyper. The motor runs great and have had no issues. I don't run it much but do run at high elevation and simply want more hp to push my 1756 Weldbilt fully loaded. The motor has no more than 140 hours. It has the older drive with out clutch.

Should I mod to the 7000, or buy new before the price increase next week? I'm looking at a huge price difference, but not sure what the difference is going to be in performance. Give me your thoughts...
Thanks

You wouldn't have to go as far as the 7000. If your happy with the motor just mod it. Do heads, exhaust and cam and see where that puts ya.

It would be alot better if you jsut modd what you have, it will save you some money and you'll have great performance. Personally if you have cody do the work, Carb, heads and exhaust. You'll be more than impressed.
