the only thing the sbe has on it is a half inch. i have way more than that on alot of people it is kinda ugly at first, but itll grow on you

Some guys may disagree, but you don't need a 3.5" shell to kill ducks. I can see the advantage for geese, but if this is strictly a duck gun for you, you're actually better off with the 3" chambered Vinci. Steel has alot of bounce to it and when it has to jump a half inch before it even gets to the forcing cone it's a bad thing. As for me, I shouldered one the other day and I can't wait to buy one. I'm sure with a 3" chamber it will pattern my 3" shells alot better than my other guns too. As far as how a gun looks I could care less as long as it kills 'em DEAD. But that's just me.

i actually shoot better with a 3 for some reason. and a buddy of mine who is a goose guidie in OK shoots a franchi raptor and its chambered 3in. he smacks geese stone cold dead with it all the time.

i always thought the fingerguard on my sbeII was big and ugly...lol seen the vinci at cabellas a few days ago...didnt even know what to say. ugliest thing ive seen, but the guy behind the counter says he has one and loves it. to each their own.

I'll stick to my ol 11-87 duck killin machine with the 870 supermag for the occasional long shells for geese.

I got scater guns from $200- $2k and they all kill birds. just like cars some are just better than others.
I hunter my Cynergy all last year and was satisfied......but if you go on a conservation hunt you will get tired of breakign it open...
Ill probly get a vinci b/c they wont make them long and one day be worth a few pasos.
