Call it getting ready early or what have you but the boat is gased up, new fuel filter, new oil, checked motor over, and strung up my new decoys texas rig. Had some phone calls from people i don't even have their name in my phone, just phone number pops up. Still haven't cleaned my Benelli Nova! Already getting offers to fill boat up, we'll see if that holds up. Already been asked if i have scouted new spots.

For me, gas for the generator at the camp is cheaper than gas for the ride back home. At least thats what I tell the wife during duck season. By summer time Im indebted and my honey do list is a mile long.

That not including the shot gun shells fir at least 2 or 3 lol

Takem I wasn't busting your chops about you getting people to pay for gas. Some people think that their doing so much for you by putting $10 worth of gas!! They have no clue what it cost us

agreed......between truck and boat and 3 months of duck hunting, i'm looking at well over 70 grand, not including scouting lol.....But hey i don't ask for much but if the offer is on the table i'll ony tell you "you don't have to" ONCE....you ask again better pull out your wallet

I've never asked for diesel for my truck, because of they dont go with me, I'm still goin any way. People offer, but I don't accept it. But I don't turn down them puttin gas in the boat, or buying my breakfast or lunch.

when i leave trucks full, boats full and i have grocery's and ice. on the way back i fill everything up total up all the receipts divide by whomever and its split down to the penny. Yes Ill take a check.

its the only fair way even if it a kid I pay there way but still divide by the # of people who came.
