 Re: Orion Outboards
Only one ive seen is on the website looks to me like its homemade and someone is selling them... i dont believe its gonna stand a chance if the sport motors work like they say they will... theres nothing on the market like them dont see how it can compete

 Re: Orion Outboards
Yea I was keepin my eye on that one to, from hear say the motor cawl was just temp and he was gettin one custom made for it. I looked on there the other day and it's not listed as being for sale anymore, which sucks because it sounded like it was going to be a beast. I would have liked to seen a video of it running.

 Re: Orion Outboards
That Orion thing is a joke. It still even has the hi/lo gearing that came wif it when it was on the 4-wheeler. I wish u well if u buy that thing. It looks really good, NOT. Get one of the 4 proven motors if u want something reliable. And the MB Sport IS NOT proven.

 Re: Orion Outboards
Yea I would def give it a year or two to work out the flaws, had no intent to be the first one to buy one!

 Re: Orion Outboards
I have a bit of a problem trusting the design capabilities of a company that puts a sword (or what ever that sh!t is) on the outdrive support. Doesn't all that crap just grab the veggies?

 Re: Orion Outboards
no it really doesnt. the only part that i have had hang on to the veg is that lil piece that sticks up with a round tip on it. i just snapped it off. it would only happen when you were stopped in thick weeds that sit on the top of the surface. once yur runnin it aint even in the water.

This is one of the reasons I own a mud motor and not an outboard. Gotta think through the simple things before you start adding complexity.
