2007 stock 36 pd, what should I spend my money on?
looking to make some mods to this motor. question for yall is what should I start with? Prop, exhaust, carb? I am looking for speed and quicker out of the hole. Not to mention I want it to be reliable. Also how do you know when a prop needs to be replaced? If I need a new one what would be best for my situation.
Thanks in advance.

i would say if your doing it one at a time, i would do exhaust first, then heads, then carb. If you do heads or carb first gains will be minimal with stock exhaust. If you do exhaust first then you can do what ever else and not have to worry about air flow getting out

Best bang for your buck would be to sell it & buy a GTR!!!

I have a stock 07' 36 PD and I sent my heads to Cody at SETX Performance. This is the first thing that I have done to it. When I get my heads back, I'm fabbing up a stainless exhaust. I have the material already to build it just had to order some mandrel bent tubing, then Tig it up. There are several threads talking about custom exhaust or even gutted stock exhaust. But in your situation, your 07' like mine has that rust bucket exhaust.

Spend $25 on a k&n air filter
Gut your stock exhaust
Cut holes in your air filter bracket
Gain 300 rpms for $25
Then get your heads done

The Prodrive prop is 12.5" tip to tip new. Once you wear off the cup on the tip, performance drops a lot. You can loose up to 1.5 mph with a prop that still looks decent.
Carb, heads and mm exhaust will surprise you. Cheaper to gut factory exhaust.
