I was riding in my boat the other day and tried to use reverse and it wouldn't turn all of a sudden. I got home and put meter on the switch. I was not getting volts to switch. I ordered a new switch still not working. There is what looks like a capacitor that the starter attaches to the power wire to the switch. I am thinking that whatever this is went out due to no volts on it. Anyone got any suggestions to what this grey sylenoid looking device is? Any suggestions on what else It could be not making the reverse turn?
