New Paint job
Has anyone ever used the "Reelfoot Grass Lands" stencil? How did it come out

Re: New Paint job
Wouldn't be a bad idea to ask this question before you buy the stencil dumbass

Re: New Paint job
I used it and it turned really well. Just Take your time you are going to need a extra set of hands and lots of time.

Re: New Paint job
That turned out really good. The realfoot stencils look to be more economical than the SR.

Re: New Paint job
My last boat was the real foot marsh grass which looked really good. I just fished painting my new boat last week and this time used the Realfoot thicket brush or something like that. It also turned out really well. I'll try to post some pictures of both later. Biggest issue is don't rush it you have to have time, build the bacground and overlay, some of the stencils tend to get wet and heavy so you have to let them dry.
Either way I would recomend the Realfoot over do it yer self. For the time and money you want it to look good.

Re: New Paint job
I've heard of guys using 3M adhesive spray to hold up their stencils. Thinking of trying that but, if you use multiple stencils, will the paint have any problems sticking were the first stencil had the adhesive spray? Also, does the adhesive pull off the paint from the first stencil or back ground?

Re: New Paint job
I would not do that...we use 3M spray to stick gaskets on engines and it will pull the paint off.. Your Paint job will come out like sh!t.....

Re: New Paint job
Thanks for the heads up. Almost bought some yesterday. I like the extra beer idea, then I won't care how it turns out!
