 New Motor on Boat
Hey guys, I recently swapped motors with Mareno on here. It is a 36PD with carb and exhaust. Took it out and ran it. Ran good. It needs a new Prop.IT seems to be slipping or not getting a bite. The prop is worn pretty good. I havent measured it. Im going to call PD and order a new one. I used the search and couldnt find anything on Maintenace on the lower unit. I am getting a little grease out of the pivot area. Is this Normal.? On my phone gps I was getting 27mph on a 1752 F&F boat with Me, 285, wife 155, and two kids 102 and 52. Would a 12x12 prop be best? Any maintenance advice would be appreciated also.

 Re: New Motor on Boat
Those speeds sound really good for that set up.
