Post Any good ideas..
On how to remove Hydroturf? I need to replace the Hydroturf on the floor of my boat, and man it is a biatch to get off. I worked for about an hour to scrape it off, and I got half od the front section of the floor off. I probably lost three pounds of water weight while doing it!

Just curious if anybody has any bright ideas...

Heat will loosen the adhesive up. Dont just set in on fire. lol

Get a good stiff 3 to 4" putty knife.

That HT cant be stuck that bad. But then again we tear up floors for part of our living. lol

I once had to tear up carpet in a school gym in 3" wide strips with a polaris 700 4-wheeler. That shit was stuck!

Just pull off and scrape of what you can. If it leaves pieces don't worry about it. Get a hard sponge looking paint stripping wheel that will fit on a drill and get to work. It'll burn some of the foam from friction but it'll get it down smooth to recover with new turf. I would suggest good music on your mp3 player, a nice shade tree and a cooler of beers.

It just tears into little pieces. The sacraper will get underneath it, and with enough force and time you can scrape it off , but it still leaves a residue. I am going to have to sand it down after I get it off. Don't put this shit down if you want to take it off.

Take the sub floor out and turn it over the rivet it back down. Maybe a flat shovel.

I would think a good wire wheel would clean up and of the residue.

I tried one. Liked the paint wheel a little better. Both of em cause enough friction to get the smearing effect of the turf that was really stuck good.
