Someone told me today that 20" or more of rain is predicted to hit the gulf. Any truth to that?

Good luck guys. From what I here down here things look bad. I find it hard to believe buy its saying 20" of rain? That is just insane. Stay safe, be prepared, good luck.

What has me most worried where I live is the 6-12 ft storm surge. As it stands, the projected path with bring a 3-6 ft. surge, but if it gets any further to the west we'll fall into that 6-12 ft. range. Not good.

Will be leaving work today to go to Pecan island to get my camper. I rather see it at my house than not knowing whats going on there. If anyone in that area needs help holler Illl be there all this evening.
