I bought a brand new gator tail and at 9 hours my PLASTIC throttle lever broke within 9 hours of use..talk about pissed not downing GT but that's uncalled for! Anyways thanks to take em'gator I have a new stock one coming my way.. but my question is..does anyone have any alternatives OTHER THAN the BPS stainless throttle lever?, I know it will work with slight modifications, which fine..just wondering if anyone had a better idea.. It would really suck to be stuck with a 20min boat ride have to pull your throttle cable by hand! Thanks!

Hey quackhead don't do anything drastic yet, put that stock one on it i sent you. I have an ASV break away lever that i pulled off my dirt bike before i sold it, i'm going to see if that will work and if it does that'll be the way to go.

I have a bbr breakaway lever for mine they work really good pulled off my dirtbike but there about 130.00 bucks

Damn man where did you buy yours from, My old mechanic from when we use to race can get them, i'm going to see what he can get them for. Would be a nice addition and not have to ever worry about it breaking if you bump into it or anything

Mine came from bbr I put them on my sons crf50 and then I liked them so much I put them on both of my bikes

It's just screwed on just like the bps lever just add two longer screws and two little spacers If u have a bigger handle

FYI i'm checking the I.D. on this lever but i'm 99% sure it'll work
