I don't have no rev box ! Heads, cam, exhaust carb 4350 all day your not gonna gain 5 mph or still hand with a well put together 7000. As for as the water it's still perfect for a 4 hour trip!!

Going to reserve a 17x50 hunt deck Gator Trax with a 36 Horsepower prodrive today, done some more research and I think that'll be the best set up for me, thanks for all the comments, learned alot!

Have a buddy who just purchased a 17/50HD with a PD. You will need the extension handle just as he did. However, the craftsmanship I seen on the extension handle is shoddy at best. It is attached with a small set screw (not welded) and the control box stays in the original position. Seems PD can do better than that.

Looks like Gator Trax is now a dealer for Pro-Drive, so they should be able to answer your questions. I'm sure Kent is not going to rig something up if it isn't right.

What size tiller extension do you recommend? Kinda thinking the 12" but its a 20" hunt deck so would the 18" extension be the better option? thanks for bringing that up!

On the 7000 subject why spend 10k on a motor thats built way beyond its holding up capability. They are literally ticking time bombs.....You can't Reason with people that don't want to listen to reason. On numerous occasions have they been talked to on how to make them run better and be way more reliable than they are. They claim these motors are high HP, yeah they are for the short amount of lifetime the live. The compression needs to be lowered on them as stated before. Plus you can buy you a single carb set up for way less money and make it run the same if not better. With basically the same parts one less carb i can wax a 7000 and my motor is way more reliable, better built and i know what i have in my motor and who done the work. Just my opinion, You can buy a stock motor and build it the way you want it for less money and have the same HP but more reliable.

Yeah they come with a warranty and your GONNA NEED IT, i think its a 6 month warranty as in any modded motor that comes straight from a factory, there is a reason they come with such short warranties. Why not have stock motor built the way you want it and you have the piece of mind of who built it and what parts you have in it. Most the shops that mod these motors will try to help you out and they are ALWAYS open to help you out.
