I just got my 2012gtr in the mail yesterday...i thought that gatortail had re-vamped their reverse design to a four wheeler style fwd/reverse and away with their clutch style. Can anyone else please clear this up for me.

They just changed the brake caliper and rotor. Nothing to do with the clutch

Sounds like you shoulda mailed some cracklins along with the check when you put the purchase on the motor.

Not sure about a 4 wheeler reverse but my 35hp GDSD
Used the same reverse technology as a Honda 110 three wheeler.lol.

My guess is that he is talking about the shifter on the handle, like the new MB Sport is supposed to have. Actually I think it's an outboard design, but a lot of 4-wheelers have the same thing basically,

He could possibly mean a locking style reverse like most atv's have. Push lil red button and squeeze handle and shift locking it in reverse. I know GT doesn't do that but maybe he is referring to just locking the handle down?
