same thing happened to me while scouting the day before teal season opened. luckily the stationary side of the clutch switch broke but the momentary side still worked to get me back to the launch. on mine the pin on the back the switch rattled loose. the motor only had 30hrs at the time so BoatDr warrantied it for me. he said he keeps plenty so id contact him (504) 737-1203

I don't know what switch MB uses, but a lawnmower shop should have a PTO switch if that's what you need. They like to carry yellow one's though.

Napa has one being dropped off to me in the am and mb has one coming also.

Go devil I had one of them bitch's hated always being in gear.

Mb is doing just fine for me.

Seems that if I don't cover them while im offshore something goes wrong with them!!

Lol, nature of the beast, bro. Another trick I learned the hard way was to trim it down while in storage. The dew runs down the tiller & into the football if you leave it trimmed up.

Camo I will try that this time when I leave to go back offshore. When I opened the football you can tell its wet inside. One trim switch and now the clutch switch..

The wiring diagrams for the MB motors (includes all the engine wire harnesses) are on the BPS site in the DIY section. Suggest you print it out and put it in a ziploc in the boat so if you have a switch go out or wires get pulled out you can temporarily bypass/repair to get home. On that clutch switch a simple toggle switch would work to engage/disengage until the switch with momentary gets in. .
