 27 & 36 prodrive
I'm sure this question has been asked before but any info would be great ... I got a new 27 PD an I wih I would have went ahead an got the 36 ... To save some money (maybe) would the 36 motor mount up on my frame with no trouble ? Just something that crossed my mind an been wondering thanks !!

It will bolt right up, yes. I've been told you have to swap out the tiller handle in order for the linkage to line up properly, but did not have any issues when I put a 36 on mine.

Great my cousin-in-law got the 36 I drove it one day after a teal hunt an it's like night an day to me Ima start looking for a good 36 motor

Bout 20 lbs IIRC. It feels a lot heavier when you pick the sumbitch up to drop it on the frame, but the specs say its not that much.

They use the same lower units. Everything is identical except for maybe the tiller handle.

I'm really gona have to look in to selling mine an buying a 36 I think it would be cheaper than buying a whole new rig

Just keep the 27... it ain't worth much used by itself. If the briggs ever gives you shit, drop the kohler back on without skipping a beat. Mine is on a shelf in the garage.
