 Re: 20'x72" Bow Fishing Rig
Ha Jason I'm not mad I would really like to see it run. I could see mine with 100+ hp on the back but it's nice. On the boxes one thing I hate they sweat bad I have to keep them open until they completely dry out. It's gonna be fun opening 10 hatches lol. I like it wade I think it came out really well. Glad you got what you wanted.

 Re: 20'x72" Bow Fishing Rig
Finally someone decks the entire boat! Exactly what I want with a single on it. 1860 100% decked. Jason if you drain back to a central bilge get a diaphragm pump instead of a macerator they'll last twice as long.

The box that holds fish has a 1.5" drain straight out back of boat. No scales will be in bilge.

Boat ran 31 today empty. 9 people ran 29 deep water and 30 shallow water. Avg weight was 200 per person. Boat handles a load really well

 Re: 20'x72
Q's for UNLCE J, with all the hipe on these new LED lights, i see in your build you have the oversized lights box around the shooting platform , would the Strip Led work as good or better or is there a reason to stay with that design, it seems that all the Bow Boats have that style lighting that your are fabricating for this build ,and or because the new Led are not proven yet or new to market? also it's less expensive then the LED'S or are the big box lights LED also Thanks.

 Re: 20'x72
Not Jason but here is why the light cans are made the way they are on my boat. The cans are only 12" tall and 7" deep. This will allow me to run custom hps housings or my 50w LEDs The light bars haven't been proven yet that is what I wanted to use but not enough test time yet. There is a new company out there that has designed lights for bowfishing (seelite) with a yellow tint much like the hps lights. That is what I will be running until they get the smaller profile bars going.

 Re: 20'x72
you gonna like the seelight yellow, they dont"look"as brightt as the white but they penetrate the water better. crystal clear water....any light works. muddy-dirty water.......no lights work. less than clear, kinda dirty but not too bad,so-so water..........these yellow leds, like hps, have the advantage.

 Re: 20'x72" Bow Fishing Rig
Actually it's a transparent type tent. I've spent a good bit of money on different colors and am pretty close to what I want. The white lights are just to damn white. In clear water their great which any light works water with any sediment in it the white lights reflects of the particles And makes it hard to see trough it. I've shoot a ton of fish both ways but the yellow seems to work the best. I've tried probably 3-4 different colors and compare then on real fishing trips each side the boat a different color. People talk about 50 watt led and bigger I'm perfectly happy with the 27 watt

This is the color I'm gonna go with
This is the other color it's brighter but doesn't penetrate as good

 Re: 20'x72
Ii still haven't made up my mind to go 12/24 system or 120v on my lights since i run the generator anyways to power convertors for the troller. With two eu2000 Hondas running on Econo they aren't very loud and I don't think I will get much silent time running that many 50's on 12/24v. If seelites hadn't came out with this yellow light I was going with the 27's and yellow tape.

You must be the guy that my buddy Shane Smith was telling me about that was building a big bowfishing boat that would have twin stage 1 GTRs. Congrats on the boat.

 Re: 20'x72" Bow Fishing Rig
After having these lights I sill never have that hassle of having a generator I'm my boat again. I know we fish different ways but it's ho easy this way. My motors keeps my batteries charged 100% all the time
