Post mud motor as a kicker?
How would a mud motor( with reverse ) as a kicker motor perform? I have a big fan for bowfishing and its abit loud for me throwing around the idea of a 23-25 hp mud motor. what yall think? MY BOAT DSCN2395.JPG

If it's for low speeds you might be able to get away with a smaller motor like the copper head

yea just for trolling just thought they be tougher than a outboard kicker. i would be rigging it to b drove from the front ,like my fan.

Look at the 12hp copperhead, they are light and everyone seems to have good things to say about em

It's gonna be hard to get one to reverse from the front. If you shoot tournaments you gotta remember they muddy the water up unlike a fan.

My first idea was to have a outboard with a Gtr behind it on a fan tail were you could use outboard to run and mm to fish
