Post Looking for a mud motor mechanic in Illinois
Anyone know of any decent mechanics in Illinois. I need to have my carb properly tuned up. Thanks

you might think about taking your carb off and sending it out to have it rebuilt by one of the sponsors on here. They can give you a few more HP over stock for what a briggs dealer would charge you to do a stock rebuild.

You can buy a new one from MB for less than a rebuild price.

Not much to tuning a 35 carb.

Guess I'm gonna have to keep tinkering with it myself. I know my way around a motor but when it comes to fine tunein a carb there are too many variables that affect the performance and I would rather not have to do it myself. I also think it needs jetted differently
