All I've got to say is thank god I called uncle j, I called Jesse the week before nonk and he wanted payment in full, luckily I wasn't as trusting as some of the fellas on here. Nonk got my boat built in 5 days. I feel for y'all that got screwed, docott, you might only be 5'6"( I'm only 5'7" lol) but your still a bigger man than me. No way I'd take that loss so home boy could keep food on his table. It's like a couple others said, it's funny how people will find money when you get the authority's involved. Best of luck, hope at the very least you press charges, even if you don't get your money back, it will ruin his reputation and hopefully no one else will fall into that trap.

Look, I work hard for my money just like everyone else. I don't like getting screwed any more than any of you do. I'm not used to solving my problems in a physical way. Does that mean I'm a pussy? No. It does not. If I tried that, I'd just end up taking a beating and losing my job. Still wouldn't get my money back. When I found out about what he was/is doing, he already had seven lawsuits from people trying to get deposits back. Yea, I could spend yet more of my money to hire an attorney and get in line, but that would have been a pointless waste of time and money. He had/has no money to pay back the first seven lawsuits, much less mine. Criminal charges-I gotta figure the seven people who have lawsuits have looked into that. So, you tell me what the point of my doing anything would have been? Why the change in attitude? I tried to bring this to people's attention over a month ago. Nobody believed me. Nobody wanted to hear it. Everybody defended Jesse and jumped on me. So, fine, I decided to give it some time, knowing that the truth would eventually come out, which it did. Having tried to expose this once before, I chose to let this thread develope to the point where I was sure people were receptive to the truth. So here we are. Why talk to an attorney now? Well, after all this talk, I decided that even if I cost more money, and I never get anything back, it's the right thing for me to do.
This isn't about me. It's about a bad guy, a thief. It's about others who have lost more than I have. That's pretty much it. I'd rather the focus of this thread be on those things than on me.

What sucks is now I have a brand new GTR sittin in a crate and a small amount of my budget left for my build money is hard to come by around these parts... So until I get back on top I will make payments on my loan and pay insurance premiums on a boat that doesn't exist.
About to decide to head to Pierce Alu. And get my own material and build it myself. I only hope that during this build I can get the support of MMT to get me thru this with specs a facts that I don't know due to be new to the MM world.

Nocemdead, the guy that built my boat Mr. Borel is available and 20 min from my house, he built PoPo Mudducks boat for him jsut recently, that is an option for you, he's in his early 60's and has proved himself over and over again and pays fine attention to detail. Call uncle J. He's helped several people by providing boat build kits with all the miscellaneous parts needed. Obviously, there are many people on here that would be more than happy to give advice. Willing to bet given the situation, some might be willing to help in person.
