i was just reading about the duals...it says u get 2-1/2 times more power from the engines working together...they say 2 18's would beat any 36hp engine.

Dual 27's would work fine on any boat large enough to hold them. PD first dual rigs where 27's. They run great and have a little less weight than the 36's!

You can do dual 23 for what it cost to do a stage 3 35hp. Less chance of a major problem. Will carry a load better than a single screw.I have not driven a dual set up yet. Warren told me they will do 27 or 28 and 27 with a heavy load in the right boat. If you did carbs and bps crossover I bet you would see 30 with a load. You should see warren dual 35 on a 20 or 24 foot rig. Warren has loaded it to the gunnel's were barely above water and it still got on plane and ran. If all you want to do is go fast get a modded 35 and a light boat and keep your fingers crossed it don't come apart. (Mostly cam failings). If you want a work boat that goes plenty fast get a a dual set up.
