 Re: Specklebellies
Doesn't seem worth it for 2 birds. Plus I have no where to hunt them.

 Re: Specklebellies
I have a killer calls from team Camo. If speck was my main type of hunting I would be laughing through a redbone.

 Re: Specklebellies
Heard of them, never heard one. I got the privlidge of hunting with Nathan Wright one time and good lord the man can call. I had to make sure the birds didn't come alive in the blind

 Re: Specklebellies
2 don't seem like a lot but you got to work for them bastards. I'd rather kill 2 specks that made 4 passes before we shot them than 6 teal that just bombed in out of nowhere into decoys, just my preference though. Plus it's a big rush when you got a few hundred specks all cuttin up and crossing each other over you then snows come in behind then and they all land right in front of you

 Re: Specklebellies
I hear ya on the teal. I love working birds more than anything else. I worked a dozen mallards for probably 10 minutes yesterday. Just the calling back and for with a vocal hen or drake in the bunch is what I like. For the life of me I couldn't get them inside 40-50 yards, and I didn't want to pass shoot them, but I couldn't get them to commit and stick they're feet out. Even though I didn't shoot at them, it was still the highlight of my hunt yesterday.
