Just wanna know who's down here. Miramar, Miami area. Duck seasons coming up. It's good to have some friendlies around in case emergencies or anything. I usually hunt holiday park, and lake okeechobee is an hour away so ill be up there aswell.

There's a few down there , I'm in tampa and hunt lake O some and the glades.

I live in polk county.... thinking about giving lake o a shot.... but thats a awfully big lake to b by yourself cuz i cant talk my buddies into making thd trip

Sounds like a horror story! Need that four wheel drive. I don't have it either. man I found the ducks in the lake. Some people I talked to at the ramp had no luck. I don't I guess I was just in the right spot all 3 days. First day i went with my older bro with out any scouting at all and we got our limit. Second day i went without him, got lost! i shot my limit and my rookie buddy got zero! Third day big bro and i fell one bird shy. After that I couldn't go anymore had to work.

Yup I did real good in early teal I hunted all 5 day and like 3 birds for a 5 day limit, my son did real good as well , I also hunt the kcol I'm only 45 min from there so it's and easy drive for me to get.

I've never been to tm Goodwin. We'll see how lake o goes. I think it's gunna be a pretty decent year. Man I'm obsessed with these newrigid LEDs I bought. And I'm so stoked for duck hunting. I have the dually d2s (driving) and they are bada$$! And I just bought a dually 2x2 spot to put in between em. Like a guy named will has on his pro drive on this forum. Also bought a pair of 2x2 floods that I'm gunna face a little offset to the sides to light up the sides. I been doing alot of boating at night with friends, girls, to mess around at holiday park. Might start bow fishing also.
All white LEDs. They look a tinge blue though. Got em off truckcustomizers.com. Free shipping and a small percentage off so I went for em. Better than ordering them direct though.

How'd y'all do on phase one at the lake?

I'll be on lake Okeechobee the weekend before Xmas gonna be hunting around lakeport buckhead ridge area. Gonna take the bossman out for his first time in many years. Ill be running a 15' Landau Jon boat with a Dixie 23 SD

I already lost track of all the ducks! Haha but the few that I remember were my first drake shovelers. First widgeon, first gadwall, and I Shot my first fulvis whistler. Had a canvasback pass me. Out at the lake just outta range and over some thick stuff, so I didn't pull the trigger. Gun has been flawless. Winchester sx3. Been shooting my limit most the time. I'm excited for phase 2.

I also did pretty good in central florida hunted all first phaze , with my kid we shot widgeon , teal gadwals , alot of ringers , and a few cans , and some mottlesduck. Can't wait to smack some more.

We did okay, kinda weird in spots I planned on doing well at not so good and at places I was just messing around turned out to be great hunts

Yeah first year I've seen a canvasback! It was a little outta range and over the thick stuff so i didnt take the shot. 2 seconds later too I hear a shot and some folks yelling its a canvasback! I wanted to die!
