anybody heard from good ol' jessie since thanksgiving? he wasn't able to build by my deadline so i asked for a refund, he needed to work on getting funds to pay me back just short of 8k, so i gave him a deadline of 11-30 to do so. he shipped my motor tuesday before thanksgiving and i got that earlier this week. he last text me the day before thanksgiving. guess i'll be giving the livingston parish so a call and file a fraud charge in the morning...

agreed, same with mb....sent them money and never got a motor...1st excuse sunami in japan, 2nd excuse need a bearing, 3rd excuse no motor in stock, 4th excuse, have other orders in front, 5th excuse did not let em tell me reqested my funds back immediatly after 6 months of waiting on a 23mini, got a refund 30 days later, after a few calls from an attorney and conferance calling

Has dsc come clean about what his problem is? The couple boats Ive seen look nice, not that I would use him for my boat after reading this thread. But was just wondering if he just f@cked his business or had other problems hindering his production.......I would just hate to see his reputation killed if there were extinuating circumstances.....of course if there were then he needed to communicate that to his customers................

just spoke with a detective at lpso and have been talking to an attorney as well, i will admit being a law man myself sure makes it easier to file complaints knowing what info they'd want!

as for excuses, when he was still texting me before he disappeared he said was damn near bankrupt and listed reasons of having a baby, the hurricane, corey leaving, and medical isssues all piling up. said he was talking with lenders to get his finances back in order or was planning on selling stuff to get me paid. whether or not those are the real reasons i don't know, maybe some of his buddies on here can confirm or deny those being valid reasons.

what pisses me off is if the guys so hard up for cash and working on finding me money, yet he gets a new iphone that same week? either way it makes no difference, stealing is stealing. in the grand scheme of things 8k isn't gonna make or break me in my lifetime. i'm kinda in the same boat (or lack thereof) as docott, i'm not gonna jeopardize my career for something stupid as "payback" or "justice", even though i'd sure like to, it's just not worth it to me. i'll just have to let it all settle out in the courts, even though i'm fully aware i'm never gonna see a cent of that money, but at least he's gonna have a judgement against him and not be able to scam lenders out of money in the future.

yeah the bank cut him a check for the total build instead of just sending a deposit. check was cut 06-08, cashed 06-15

That really sucks, hopefully he will do jail time and get some time to think about the decisions he has made.......you cant use other peoples money to get by, you have to earn it......from the looks of it he got greedy and started spending instead of finishing work.........What sucks is it looks like he built a fine boat........now he is gonna have to rebuild his life........
