Duck season is now closed in Wisconsin so my mind has moved on to spring. I'm interested in getting more use out of my duck rig and am going to try bowfishing this spring. I've bowfished before but with no real rig for it. I currently have a 20 X 60 dual PD rig. A PD bowfishing platform came with the boat so that will be my start for a build. Below are my first wave of questions.

1. What kind of lights? HPS, Halo, LED, Fluorescent?
2. Where to mount the lights, under the platform, at the platform, at the rail?
3. Do you use a trolling motor?
4. How big of a generator and where do you put it?

I've always run halo's but have heard that hps and led's re the best, I'd mount them as close to water as possible and run a bigger genny than needed, I've gone through a generator because I was always maxing out the output resulting in failure
