Post Unbelievable!
Thats all I can Say about Coondik Customs, This guy is top notch,

Thanks Rod! I can't thank you enough Myboy! If you ever need anything you let me know!

Here's The Rundown

I spent yesterday evening at his shop getting a set of decked heads installed. I brought the motor in limping on one leg. Truth is it wasn't even runnin (bad starter and busted exhaust). All i expected of him was to install the heads and I would order the parts I needed to get it back up and running later.

Well he not only did the head work but didn't stop working on the motor until he had it running! Using parts from his own motor! (I like to think of myself as a pretty good guy but I'm not sure if I would have done that!!)

Got started at 6:30 pm and was rolling the throttle by 10ish. Thanks also to Scott (aka P90x) and Big Sexy for the extra hands, supper, and place to crash!

Bad Ass, far and beyond of what was expected ! Rod you got a friend for life right here Myboy!

Here's a little Preformance review.

36PD w/ 42mm Mukuni, Heads Decked .055, Ported / Polished with SS valves, EVT exhaust and spinning a 12x13 tulip.

I only ran it around 30 minutes in Flat Lake. It ran steady 33 mph across and back!!! the motor was trimmed out pretty good but it kept bouncing of the rev box at 4350 and I still had a little throttle left. I tried trimming down a hair but I would lose speed. More to come later, I have a little tweaking to do with the motor and the boats wedges! ;) More than I ever expected out of this rig Fo Sho!

Hey Coondik get ready! I think a few of my padnas with be giving you a shout after they get aload of this thing! lol

Thanks again Rod you the MAN myboy! I really appreciate it!

Glad you got it back P. And ifin i decide that i need more go fast on my boat, looks like I'll be trying to get in line for some of Coondik's magic. I've read alot of good things about his work. I'm just not ready to drop no more coin for speed I can't use.

Since your heads were done- get a 4570 chip in your rev limiter.

Use your new speed wisely.

Rod is a cool dude and good with a wrench. Only one problem.
He's so ugly he can't get paint to stick to a muffler. every one he done has peeled of the first time it was run.

Was going to run over and get the stage 3 set up he had for sale. Call him and we talked for a while he discovered that all I really needed was a stage 1 and some other mods. Suggested who to see over here and what parts I would need. He also talked me through doing it myself. Saved my a trip and time and money setting me up. At every call or PM Rod was very helpful and supportive.
First class helpful not just the glad hand and smug kind of help. It is a rare thing to have someone that will share his time like that. I appreciate what he did for me. Yes Brooks Southern Hospitality is still around. ;)
