This looks neat, saw it on another site. He posted he will be loading some video with sound as soon as he can. Looks like he put some time into the design and bracing and it looks good.

Kind of a cool look. Better than my duals. I like the carb clearance. Interested to hear them and find out more about them. Has anyone bought product from this gentleman?

So basically its 2-Hopkins for the same price Hopkins charges. With the needed slip joints to keep the flanges from cracking.

I wonder if his design will fit a vertical 36 PD? I sent an email awaiting a reply. He might have a different day job I guess.

Post Re: Double Barrel Exhaust
Talked to him today. Nice guy. Built one to have a "quiet performance exhaust" you see the result. He is building these in addition to his other business. He is currently out, he shipped 10 to a dealer from the first production. He will start another run in the next week and a half. That was his explanation. Full Stainless w/brackets and stainless baffles in top chamber. He will be updating his web page soon. I will let him explain his product and any post purchase reliability for himself. I believe everyone will be pleased with what he has to say. The pictured exhaust is billed as a "quieter Performance exhaust". He is working on an even quieter version of the one that is pictured. I have ordered the Performance exhaust for my 35 Van. I will keep everyone posted.

Judging from the sound clip, can anyone who owns or has heard a BPS crossover with silencer say whether this unit is more or less quiet than the Crossover?

Slip fit exhaust has been used in many other things besides a mm. Like ultra light aircraft just as an example. Just a fyi.

Exhaust arrived today. Nice unit compact and well built. Parts are all stainless. Seems very simple to install. I have ss duals(they are too loud)so should be interesting. I will install tomorrow. Pictures to follow. :D

Post Re: Double Barrel Exhaust
Well first took off all of the old exhaust and mounts on my motor. Next step Matched the Double barrel mount to the engine block. &^$*@# the mount won't fit. I have not changed from the stock carb. to the Mikuni yet. The brackets he has at the Moment will only fit an aftermarket mikuni application. Felt pretty stupid. Could grind or cut but chose not to. Called to check on brackets and was told that brackets are in the process of being lazer cut for stock carb application. Heads will be in this week. So on hold for today. As far as the exhaust itself. Unit is compact and sturdy, SS materials are of good quality and design is well thought out. Mounting bracket is well made, Stainless and has been laser cut very clean lines and logos. The bracket will mount to the engine block in pre-existing block mount threads. The welds are cleanly layed down and the headers are inside welded and ground smooth slick. Needless to say I was bummed when I discovered I could not hook this thing up. SOORY TO ALL I will post more when It is all hooked up.
