 Re: ugly...cheap... disposable mudboat
I'm not building complete inboard. He has to do rigging. I will just sell him a hull (extremely cheap) for the inboard.
How big is your sons bank? Is it filled with quarters and bills?

 Re: ugly...cheap... disposable mudboat
^^^. LOL.. That's actually been a big issue with my company. Grow or stay small. There are NO 100% custom boat companies that have more than 5 or so employees. The eye for detail on each build is too critical to have too many hands on them.

 Re: ugly...cheap... disposable mudboat
yeah...its a slick aluminium sheet welded to the bottom. doesnt go fast enough to need any strakes on the bottom.

 Re: ugly...cheap... disposable mudboat
Put some slick bottom on it. It will cut you next 3 hr trip in half. It's a cheap way to save your motor and a bunch of fuel.

 Re: ugly...cheap... disposable mudboat
im assuming slick bottom is a compound you apply to the bottom. it may not help too much in my case.im literally re digging a closed path.if i get a running start i can glide 20 feet over the grass....but its not helping me dig any...just more work for me to drag the boat back to water.
